Zoom Updates
Zoom is pushing version 5 of their client software next week, and at the end of May will turn on strong encryption for many aspects of the experience (e.g., chat, video, etc.). Once the encryption is turned on, Zoom will not be able to communicate with previous versions of the software; everyone on a Zoom call/meeting will need to upgrade their software. This will happen automatically at the U of M but those outside the U will have to update or they will not be allowed into the meeting.
