Daniel McDonough passed his PhD prelim oral exam. His research focus area is Physical activity and health. Adviser: Dr. Zan Gao.




Madeleine Orr passed her PhD final defense in February. Her research focus area is Sport Management. Thesis: Ready or not: On the climate vulnerability of sport organizationsAdviser: Dr. Yuhei Inoue



Nicolette Peterson passed her PhD prelim oral exam. Her research focus area is Perceptual motor control and learning. Adviser: Dr. Thomas Stoffregen.

Come and support CEHD faculty, staff, and students as they showcase the impact of their research. Arrive early and experience the 3MT competition, where CEHD PhD students have three minutes to effectively explain their research project in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Stay later and join us for the World's Challenge Challenge competition, where two teams that include CEHD undergraduate students will present their ideas on a unique solution to a global problem with the goal of being selected for the final competition in London, Ontario.
