Poster applications for CEHD Research Day 
Due Friday, February 21

Submit your application for a poster presentation showcasing CEHD research. Submissions will be accepted through the end of the day on Friday, February 21, and decisions will be communicated by Friday, February 28.  See last year's posters at the Research Day website.

Try out the #betterposter format, designed to simplify the poster session experience. Read about the pros and cons in Inside Higher Ed, and investigate the template.  Research teams using the #betterposter will receive a $100 UMN bookstore gift certificate (one per team), and CEHD swag for each team member.

School of Kinesiology Scholarship [3583]

  • Eligibility: Outstanding undergraduate or graduate students in the School of Kinesiology. 
  • Award range: $250-750 (1-3 awards)

Roger W. and Ann T. Drinkwalter Fellowship for Nutrition Research [21752]

  • Eligibility: Graduate students enrolled in CEHD who have a focus on nutrition research and are planning to pursue careers that focus on nutrition in a variety of contexts.
  • Award range: $750-1,200 (1-2 awards)

Dorothy McNeill Tucker Fellowship Fund [6388]

  • Eligibility: Graduate students working with the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sports. 
  • Award range: $1,000-3,000 (1-2 awards)

Edith Mueller Endowed Fund for Graduate Education in the Tucker Center [5216]

  • Eligibility: Graduate students, to support the following: including but not limited to graduate assistantships, research support, travel to conferences, and equipment.
  • Award range: $1,000-5,000 (1-3 awards) 

Eloise M. Jaeger Scholarship at the Tucker Center [4449]

  • Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate students working on education in an area related to the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, particularly on girls and women in sport and physical activity.
  • Award range: $1,000-5,000 (1-3 awards)

Tucker Center Gender Equity in Sport Graduate Fellowship [8644]

  • Full-time graduate students in good standing enrolled in the School of Kinesiology who are affiliated with the Tucker Center and who are engaged in critically-needed research in areas that address gender equity in sport and physical activity.
  • Award range: $1,000-5,000 (1-2 awards)

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Team Operations Intern with the Florida Collegiate Summer League 
Deadline to apply: April 15, 2020
Duration: Summer 2020

Each team has between 3-8 team ops interns. Under the direction of the team General Manager, the team ops interns will cover all facets of the non-baseball operations of the team. This includes marketing and promotion of the team before the season; tickets, concessions and fan engagement during the season, and planning and executing your own promotional night at the ballpark. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work 35-40 hours/week, positive attitude, customer service skills, ability to multitask. >">Learn more here >>
